The difference between heavy oil and light oil
1.Fuel Handling System: From "Ready-to-Use" to "Refined"
- Heavy oil: solidifies like asphalt at room temperature. A complex heating and insulation system (oil storage tank heating, oil pipeline tracing, secondary heating before the burner) must be equipped to achieve a temperature that can pump and atomize (about 110-130 ℃).
- Light oil: low viscosity, can flow at room temperature. The processing system is mainly a conveying and filtering system, which is simple and reliable.
2.Burner and combustion method: technological differences
- Heavy oil burner: Usually steam atomization or compressed air atomization must be used. Accurate control and heating of oil and atomizing medium (steam) are required.
- Light oil burner: relatively simple mechanical pressure atomization or air atomization can be used. Easy ignition and sensitive combustion regulation.
3.Boiler body and operation maintenance: different design logic
- Heavy oil boilers: Due to their combustion characteristics, large water pipe structures such as SZS and SHS boilers are often used, resulting in larger furnaces.
- Light oil boiler: usually using the same WNS quick installation design as gas boilers, with a compact structure and high degree of automation

Economic advantages of fuel
