Working principle

Low-nitrogen atmospheric hot water boiler, also known as "atmospheric" or "non-pressure" hot water boiler, is characterized by its core feature of operating at atmospheric pressure

  1. Combustion and heat exchange: Gas or fuel is burned in the burner, and the resulting flue gas flushes the heat exchange tube bundle (fire tube or water tube) of the boiler, transferring heat to the water outside the tube.
  2. Normal pressure state: The top of the boiler is equipped with an atmospheric vent, which is directly connected to the atmosphere.
  3. Water circulation: The system's circulating water pump extracts hot water from the boiler outlet and supplies it to the end heat dissipation equipment. The cooled return water is pressurized back to the boiler by gravity or an auxiliary pump for reheating.

Main Structure Introduction

  • Boiler body: usually a vertical or horizontal cylindrical structure, made of boiler steel.
  • Ventilation duct: The most critical safety structure ensures that the pressure inside the furnace is always in balance with the atmosphere, physically eliminating the possibility of overpressure explosion.
  • Heat exchange system: Based on capacity, a three return fire tube structure is adopted
  • Low nitrogen combustion system: Similar to vacuum/pressure boilers, it uses technologies such as flue gas recirculation or full premixing to control NOx emissions.
  • Control system: Implement automatic start stop, water temperature control, and safety protection (such as water shortage and overheating).
