The world's first coupled flue gas molten salt thermal storage boiler has been successfully ignited

On May 30th, the world's first coupled flue gas molten salt thermal storage boiler applied to Unit 4 of the Phase II project of Guodian Power Langfang Thermal Power Plant achieved successful ignition in one go. The boiler ignited this time is the world's first 350 MW supercritical cogeneration boiler coupled with a flue gas molten salt thermal storage system. It is the first 350 MW tower boiler in China and has been listed as the first major technical equipment in the third batch of the national energy field and the core device of the national energy reform pilot demonstration project.

The minimum stable power generation load of the boiler unit can be reduced to 15% of the rated operating conditions, the hot start time is less than 2 hours, the coal consumption increase for power supply under 30% rated load operating conditions is not greater than 15%, and the ultra clean emissions are maintained under all operating conditions.
