Operating principle

  1. Fuel combustion

Biomass fuel is manually or mechanically fed onto a fixed grate. The primary air passes through the fuel layer below the grate to assist combustion, while the secondary air is replenished from above to fully combust volatile matter, forming high-temperature flames and flue gas.

 

2. Heat transfer

High temperature flue gas rushes upwards towards the coils inside the boiler. The heat from the flue gas is transferred to the heat transfer oil through the pipe wall, and after the flue gas cools down, it is discharged from the chimney.

 

3. Thermal oil circulation

Circulating oil pump forces heat transfer oil to flow in a closed circuit:

Cold oil → Boiler coil absorbs heat → High temperature oil → Transport to heating equipment → Release heat → Cold oil returns to the boiler, and so on.

 

4. Automatic temperature control

The PLC controller automatically adjusts the induced draft fan and secondary air volume based on the outlet oil temperature to maintain a stable temperature of ± 1 ℃.
